The temporary hit points are added to a base of 22; at level 20, this 32 hit point spookster is probably not going to take a hit too well. Incredibly, the Hexblade is one of the few melee builds in 5e that eliminate the need for Strength. I am honestly a bit bored by the canon Hexblade Patron lore of the entity making swords in the shadowfell. This spell list has a lot of concentration spells. Having advantage in the saves youâre proficient in also just feels really good. Shapechanger is like a superpowered version of Disguise Self, but Mask of Many Faces fills the same function so it's less interesting. With Curse on something letting you crit on 19s and two attacks a round, thatâs a 35% chance of a crit per turn. A huge problem with Warlocks is that they need Dexterity if they want any AC.
