This is a good matchup. Help | My reasoning was, that 4 mana is a lot in this deck; and if i pay it i want more immediate value than just a +1/+1 counter. This is a synergy-driven Aggro deck that is looking to overwhelm the opponent by curving out cheap creatures and pumping them up with Unbreakable Formation, Venerated Loxodon, and Ajani, the Greathearted. Magic the Gathering, FNM is TM and copyright Wizards of the Coast, Inc, a subsidiary of Hasbro, Inc. All rights reserved. To be fair though, a lot of people don’t like ajani and it’s possible that you only want to play one. The cat is there also cause why not. They do have Bonecrusher Giants, and very rarely Shock, to deal with Conclave Mentor game one, but they usually can’t beat your strong turns with Venerated Loxodon or Mentor if you have an immediate follow-up. He doesn’t protect your board against sweepers and is just a bit too weak overall.
It says to "put those counters on The Ozolith." Can’t pump the board if there’s no board, y’all! The Ozolith’s first ability doesn’t move counters off the creature that’s left the battlefield. I was thinking instead of the Ajani in the 4 drop slot; running questing beast is also a good option; since it has haste and works well w/ Ozolith. Throw in a Footfall Crater and now the thing has trample and haste.

And last but not least Harvest Season is a card that I was thinking about getting last night as if I'm understanding the card correctly, in this deck can fetch for all remaining forest in mid to late game as most of the creatures can be tapped but it would take the slot of Cultivate and as stupid as it sounds I love the full art cultivate art and it will be difficult to cut it from the deck :). Then regarding the planeswalkers Nissa Revane is definitely on my "to get" radar and will replace Nissa, Voice of Zendikar however my dilemma with this card is the first plus one ability that fetches Nissa's Chosen as I do not want to use one of my 99 for a 2/3 that can be fetched as I would prefer having any other card that already is in the deck so my question would be is it still worth it to add this nissa to the deck without the Nissa's chosen in my 99.

What are your thoughts on Trinket Mage as a way to pull out The Ozolith, Skullclamp or a Sol Ring? 3 Scavenging Ooze: All Star 2-Drop.
The Ozolith is already on its way in the mail and will definitely be a great addition and will provide extra "protection" from creature board wipes. In creature based Zaxara, these should be included. As the problem with lack of defence against fliers comes down strictly to the fact that my play group for some reason always runs a small number of creature with flying, regardless in any other meta this would proably a big weakness of the deck. The world of Zendikar is back in the new Magic: The Gathering set, Zendikar Rising.The new set includes 285 new cards, and only a few of those cards are reprinted from previous sets. The Ozolith is really broken in Hardened Scales!

You need a strong board for this to be effective, so we only want 2. So when arcbound worker dies, both modular and the ozolith trigger, the ozolith gets a +1/+1 counter, and arcbound ravager gets two +1/+1 counters (one from modular, and one from the ability resolving). Other people can view your private deck by using this url, Seems there are no cards in the Acquireboard. Try to curve into Gideon and keep up the pressure, so they always need to deal with him and your other creatures at the same time. Which means that Hardened Scales is off to the races. If you’re looking to play something other than the premier decks (check those out here), I highly encourage you to take a look at this one, as it has a good proactive gameplan and is very fun to play. Managed to pull this off on Arena, and just had to share.
