I've been using my Wii U with a HDMI Switcher and I always have the issue of the picture starting cut out after about a 1/2 hour of playing.This also happens with my PS3 and Laptop when they're hooked via HDMI. Mario Kart Wii, Zelda Twilight Princess and SMG2 look amazing on HDMI. I suspect the TV will have a say on the picture setting as well. There is minor difference in quality (WiiU is slightly better) but overall, Wii will stay as my favourite console of all times, for now.
